Facelift is a surgical sort of cosmetic procedure. It is medically known as Rhytidectomy. The surgeon trims away excess skin making incisions. Incision is also made under the chin to improve the texture of the face further. Sagging neck skin, sagging jowls and accumulated fat under the chin are corrected by removing excess skin in a facelift. After replacement or removal of excess fat or skin, the incisions are closed with skin adhesives or sutures. The place of incisions is dressed with a sterile bandage after applying some antibacterial ointment on it.
